“Sometimes I feel like a god”

—Andrew Cohen, quoted by his mother Luna Tarlo in her book, The Mother of God

Stripping the Gurus, published in 2009 by Geoffrey D. Falk, is a very insightful book exposing “the alleged sins which have been concealed behind the polished façades of too many of our world’s “saintly and sagely” spiritual leaders and their associated communities, with a marked focus on North America over the past century.”

Chapter 21 of Falk’s book is devoted to Andrew Cohen; titled “Sometimes I feel like a god”, it provides a succinct and clarifying revelation of Cohen, and will be informative to those wanting to dig deeper into the issues of authoritarian spiritual leaders in general, and Andrew Cohen in particular.

The chapter is available online here.
